HOW AND WHEN DO I RECEIVE MY MONEY?

We pay by an electronic funds transfer.  You can await verification of funds from your bank before handing your car over. This usually happens when we arrive to collect your car and make the inspection.

WHY CANT I HAVE CASH FOR MY CAR?

We pay by more secure bank transfer which is same day, usually instantly.  You do not have to hand over your car until you have verified cleared funds.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS A DENT OR SCRATCH

Should you have missed something you will have the opportunity to discuss this with us when we contact you. It is very important that you have described your car correctly. We will inspect your car prior to paying you and will obviously want to deduct any damage from his original offer.

We are very proud of the statistic that over 95% of consumers receive the offer that the we stated prior to viewing the car.

I HAVE OUTSTANDING FINANCE ON MY CAR

We will settle the outstanding finance on your car ourself. If you have only recently settled an outstanding finance agreement you will need to supply a clearance letter from the finance company to say they have no financial interest in your car any longer. Due to data protection laws the we cannot obtain a settlement figure on your behalf so if your vehicle is subject to a finance agreement you will have to apply for a current settlement quotation yourself. We will not be able to purchase your car unless you have a copy of the most recent settlement note. If your settlement figure is more than what your car is valued at you will need to pay the difference to us.

WHATS THE CHARGE TO COLLECT MY CAR?

This is free. If you are local or prefer you can drop off your car.

I DO NOT HAVE A CURRENT REGISTRATION DOCUMENT (V5)

We will require this when purchasing your car, If you do not have one please let us know. Obtaining the very best price for your car is difficult if you do not have a current V5 registration document.

IS PART EXCHANGING MY CAR A BETTER OPTION FOR ME?

You will often find that that buying and selling a car is best treated as two separate transactions maximising the very best price for your current car and getting the very best purchasing price/discount for your new car.
